Distinguished Faculty Lecture
by Diane Caporale, Ph.D., Department of Biology
“I Inherited More from My Father than his
Good Looks: A Case Study on Breast Cancer”
The distinguished faculty presenter, Diane Caporale, professor
of Molecular Biology and Genetics and five-year breast cancer
survivor, will reveal how she transformed a dire diagnosis into an
educational experience and a scholarly opportunity. From her
special perspective as an educator, scholar, wife and mother,
Professor Caporale will discuss inheritance, causes, diagnoses
and treatments of breast cancer.
All members of the university and community are invited
to the tenth annual University Evening, a celebration of
the creativity and scholarship of UW-Stevens Point faculty.
