The Social Science Consent agenda (appended) was approved. There are several
questions regarding the proposed Masters in Non Profit Administration and the
changes to the current certificate program. PSC 406-410 require more complete
syllabi and better defined graduate increments. PSC 502 is a core course for the
graduate program and needs a stronger syllabus. There is a concern that most of the
courses are taught by adjunct faculty. Representatives of the program will be invited
to a meeting to discuss the issues. A revised graduate increment is also pending for
COMM 425 UG.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:00 PM.
