Please explain/justify the new proposal or change. 
We’ve realigned “AC/DC electronic circuits” curriculum for delivery over two semesters rather than one.
Our goal is to improve student retention in the course by pacing delivery of the material over multiple
semesters.
The addition of the one-credit, summer session Circuits Lab will provide students with additional
experience in the Electronics Laboratory. The lab will require distance students to be campus residents
for an additional week during the summer. Tactile activities completed in the lab will enhance
employability of program graduates.
V Copies and Electronic Submission
Once approved, the original, a paper copy and an electronic file are submitted to the Faculty Senate
Office, UH 221 (camie.foos@mso.umt.edu).
VI Department Summary Required if several proposals are submitted. In a separate document
list program title and proposed change of all proposals.
