Approval of 08/03/10 Meeting Minutes
o Tina made a motion to approve the 8/3/20 meeting minutes. Heather
seconded the motion.
Dress for Success (Vicki)
o Nice as New has been contacted about a possible spring collection/donation.
Vicki will contact ‘Wise Buys’ and ‘4 Cool Stuff 2 Buy’ and see if there is any
interest in this type of project.
Fall Newsletter
o The newsletter will be available on CSAC website by October 15, 2010, and
will include:
 Welcome from Chancellor Patterson (change wording for CSAC)
 CSAC Appreciation Week Recap - Robyn
 Chili Sale, etc
 Oakview Veterinary Presentation
 Watt’s Up Program
 In the Spotlight – Anthony Walter (Payroll/Personnel) - Tina
 Dollars for Sense - Anthony Walter
 Personnel On the Move/Good News Network – Anthony Walter

New Business
 Survey Select Demonstration (Peter Zuge)
o Peter will be invited to give a demo on Survey Select at the January, 2011
meeting.
 Chancellor Patterson
o Will attend the CSAC meeting on Tuesday, November 2, at 10:30 am.
 2010 Classified Staff Conference
o Robyn will put out an email inviting classified staff interested in attending the
conference the chance to ride in a vehicle sponsored by CSAC. Deadline will
be September 22, 2010.
o Heather will coordinate securing a state vehicle to take those employees to
the Green Bay Conference.
 Classified Staff Appreciation Week
 Mass mailings on all activities will be sent in advance (twice).
o October 4 – 8, 2010

 10/05 – Chili Sale
 The pergola will be set up for the Chili Sale




 Cardio Center
 Free workouts all week with Staff ID.
 Exceptional Person of the Day
 Names will be picked the week before CSAC week
 Robyn will email CSAC members the names of the chosen
people and ask for volunteers to deliver the gifts
 Tina will coordinate announcing the CSAC ‘Person of the Day’
after a daily gift is delivered to that person
Safety & Wellness Fair
o Wednesday, November 10, 2010
 Wendy reserved a table in the Laird Room
o Walking Taco Sale
o 12:00 – 2:00 PM
 Vicki will contact Dining Services to determine specifics of items
needed
 Bags, bowls, etc
 A sign-up sheet for workers will be available at the next meeting
Next Meeting
o Tuesday, October 5, 2010
 Next month’s meeting will begin at 9:30 AM due to Chili Sale starting
at 11:00 AM



Robyn has contacted Dining Services and CPS café (for varieties
of Chili)
Members of CSAC signed up to work at the Chili Sale
– Oakview Veterinary Presentation
Presentation will be held at DUC Room 378 from 12:00-1:00
Denise will coordinate the presentation and send out flyers and
MOD
Jackie will invite Pointer mascot ‘McKenzie’ to make an
appearance
Special Topics can be discussed and there will be a Q&A session
at the end of the presentation

Presentation will be held at DUC Room 374 from 12:00-1:00
Steve will coordinate the program and send out flyers and MOD
