Position: Degree Audit Coordinator
Department: Office of the Registrar
Hayes Hill Title: Information Manager (S42XN)
Position Description: The Degree Audit Coordinator serves as the functional lead for the Academic
Advisement module in Oracle Campus Solutions. Main responsibilities include encoding degree
requirements, ensuring the accuracy of degree audits for all undergraduate programs, and assisting in the
maintenance of the degree audit system.
The candidate will possess strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to
proactively identify and solve issues while encoding degree audits for departments across varied disciplines.
The Degree Audit Coordinator provides training and support to other staff in the office using the degree
audit system.
The Degree Audit Coordinator is an integral member of the Office of the Registrar staff and serves as a
backup to the Veterans Services Coordinator and Graduation Auditor, and maintains a general knowledge
of all day-to-day functions of the office.
Department/University Description: The Office of the Registrar serves the University by performing a
wide range of functions relating to student records management and academic policy administration. The
primary mission of the office is to uphold the academic policies of the University, securely maintain the
academic records of current and former students and to support the orientation team for new freshmen and
transfer students.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Baccalaureate degree
- Minimum of one year prior experience in higher education
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent collaboration skills coupled with the ability to work autonomously, make independent
judgments or decisions with minimal direction, and work closely with team members to come to joint
decisions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- This position requires initiative and attention to detail with exceptional accuracy, balanced with the need
to complete tasks in a timely manner, and the ability to adapt to ongoing change
Preferred:
- At least three years of professional experience in a Registrar’s Office or student academic advising office
at a four-year postsecondary institution
- Experience with the Oracle/PeopleSoft Academic Advisement module or another module in Oracle
Campus Solutions or other student database system
- Experience coding degree audits in Oracle/PeopleSoft, u.achieve, DARwin, or another comprehensive
degree audit system
Appointment Date: July 1, 2016
Terms of Employment: This is a 12-month, full-time academic staff appointment. Annual salary range is
in the low to mid 40’s.
