ISU extension to host ag conference

One of 13 Pro-Ag Outlook conferences being conducted by Iowa State
University Extension will be Oct. 26 north of Des Moines.
The program will begin with registration at 4 p.m. The location of the conference
will be the ISU Extension Polk County Office at 5201 N.E. 14th St., Suite A, north
of Des Moines.
Discussion will include the price outlook for livestock and crops as well as the
impact of the ethanol industry on agriculture and rural communities.
Registration is $25 per person or $40 per couple and includes refreshments,
conference material and a catered dinner. Pre-registration is required by Oct. 23
by calling 261-4230. An additional $5 per person fee will be charged if
participants do not pre-register by this date.
