Veishea Voyage to pass through area
AMES — Veishea Voyage, the annual kickoff to the Veishea celebration at
Iowa State University, will pass through the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area April 20.
Participants may run in groups or individually and will receive a complementary
gift. Register online to be a torch runner at www.veishea.iastate.
edu/tournaments. Businesses also can sponsor the torch run across the state.

The run will begin at 8 a.m. east of Waterloo on Dubuque Road and will pass
through downtown Waterloo before traveling west on University Avenue to Cedar
Falls, ending at the UNI-Dome.
The torch will arrive at ISU’s central campus April 21 for the opening
ceremonies.
