All event requests and planning is required to be submitted and discussed a minimum of two weeks prior
to the date of the event. Any event requests received less than two weeks prior to the event date will be
at the discretion of DSC catering due to labor scheduling and policies, along with availability of products

Bar Service
Bar Minimums: Cash bars or Hosted bars are available for a setup fee of $75.00 per bar. The number of
bartenders scheduled for an event will be determined by
DSC Catering. Requests for additional bartenders will
be charged accordingly. All offsite bartending services will be assigned a minimum of two bartenders.
See Alcohol Policies for all rules and regulations in regards to the service of alcoholic beverages on and off
campus.
Bar Options
There are many different options in regards to bar set ups for events serviced by DSC Catering. Most of
these options fall under the category of hosted beverages or cash bar. All regular bar set ups are supplied
with high quality eco-friendly disposable glassware. If glassware is requested a nominal charge will be
added to your bill. Every bar will include a charge of $75.00 to cover set up
Hosted Bar
Gold
This is a fully stocked bar which includes rail to top shelf liquors, along with bottled or keg beer (charged
per barrel), along with wine and soda. The host will be charged the current pricing for the different
beverages based off of sales for that event.
Bar Options Cont.
Silver
This option supplies a variety of bottled or keg beer (charged per barrel), rail drinks, along with wine and
soda. The host will be charged the current pricing for the different beverages based off of sales for that
event.
Bronze
This option supplies a variety of bottled or keg beer (charged per barrel), along with wine and soda.
The host will be charged the current pricing for the different beverages based off of sales for that event.
Kegs Only
This option provides a ½ of your choice of beer(s) for your event. The host will be charged based off the
type of beer provided for the event. Once a barrel is tapped it is considered used.
Wine Only
This option provides wine chosen from our inventory or a wine requested by the host. Wine from
inventory will be charged per glass. Wine brought in for the event will be charged per bottle.
Cash Bar
All cash bars will be fully stocked with rail to premium liquors, bottled beer, wine, and soda. All guests will
be charged the current pricing for their beverage choices. Each cash bar has a 75.00 set up fee.
All bars per policy will have nonalcoholic beverages available for the guests of the event

Regarding special liquor, wine or beer orders...If you have a preference for beer, wine or liquor that you
do not see on our menu, we may be able to special order that brand for you... just ask your event planner!
In the event that we do order something for you that are not on our regular menu (special order), you will
be charged in full for the order and are subject to any minimums that our vendor provides us. Any
remaining alcohol from the custom order becomes the property of DSC Catering and is not available for
removal from the premises.
What about Beer Gardens and ID Checkers...
All Registered Student Organizations are required to have a ‘beer garden’, although DSC
Catering has the discretion to determine if your function will require a ‘beer garden’ scenario. Often times
groups that are predominantly underage guests, or are heavily mixed between ‘of age’ and ‘underage
guests’, may require a beer garden area (special area) which
allows our staff to safely monitor the consumption of alcohol at your function. Furthermore, at the
discretion of DSC Catering, ID checkers may be required at these functions. Their presence, and the
number of checkers, will depend on many variables including, but not limited to, the number of guests,
the average age of guests and the expected business at the bars. See your event planner for more details.
Corkage Fees
If we are unable to obtain that special vintage wine that you are looking for to complement your event,
DSC Catering would be happy to provide corkage and wine service for your event with the addition of a
per bottle corkage charge. Corkage fees are as follows:

We are glad to make every effort to accommodate any dietary restrictions or allergies our guests or
students may have. DSC Catering needs to be notified as soon as possible in regards to any special needs.
As always the person(s) with restrictions or allergies need to be responsible to monitor their own
situations, and choose the best options available to them
Specialty Menus
DSC Catering will work with any group or organization to develop any special menus or ethnic dishes. We
have thousands of recipes available in our database, along with a wealth of knowledge within our student
employees, in regards to regional fare. We also have the ability to design menus that incorporate local
and sustainable items. Pricing may fluctuate based off of specific requests.
Event Attendance and Deadlines
Attendance Guarantee: The final guest attendance for any DSC
Catering function must be received no later than the end of business 5 days prior to your event. If the
event falls on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday, the final attendance is due the Monday before the event.
In the event that a final guarantee number is not received by the deadline, the estimated attendance will
be used for production and ordering purposes and you will be charged for this amount. Any changes
requested after the deadlines that include increases or decreases in attendance, amount of product, or
timing will be handled on a written approval basis, and may incur additional charges.
All event planning and specifics, along with payments if necessary along with any special needs, should be
discussed with DSC Catering a minimum of 2 week prior to the event.
Menu requests received less than (2) weeks prior to an event will be at the discretion of DSC Catering.

Prices included in the catering menu are subject to change without notice. Due to market fluctuations, we
cannot guarantee prices prior to 30 days before your event
