Go back to the plate analysis we did in class, but this time fix it completely at the wall. Use
an applied load of 600 kip and turn large deflection ON. (In truth, therefore, this isn’t just a
materially nonlinear problem.) Get a solution for the displacements in the loading direction,
and print a plot of the results. (Be sure that the displacement is legible.) Demonstrate that
the solution you present is converged, i.e. that your mesh is fine enough. (A good way to do
that is to show results from a finer mesh and demonstrate that the answer did not change
substantially.)
