R. Rix was present to speak to this course. This proposal represents a major
revision of the Theatre program. General Education credits are reduced from
60 to 42 credit hours. The revision includes a Theatre Core of 33 credits, and 6
Concentrations requiring 15 to 18 credits. Eligibility requirements were
changed to require a student maintain a 2.25 QPA in the Major and its
concentrations, with the exception of the Combination Concentration. In the
Combination Concentration students must maintain a 2.00 QPA. A grade of D
or F for a course in the Major or Concentration other than the Combination
Concentration, will administratively remove a student from that concentration
and automatically place them in the Combination Concentration. After the
courses have been repeated with a grade of a C or better, the student may
audition or present their portfolio again for consideration to be readmitted to a
Concentration other than the Combination Concentration.
