Weekly Report for August 28, 2015
Post-Response Report
•
OPA staff are finalizing payment for the Response Report Technical Editor.
•
Next week, staff will begin re-organizing folders on the shared drive. For example, older
revisions of response narratives will be archived.
•
A Post-Response Report Monthly Plan has been shared with OPA staff and Dr. James.
•
Analysis of all degree programs resulted in the following categories:
o
256 (87%) “Complete”
o
33 (11%) “Partially Complete”
o
5 (2%) “Not Complete”
Additional OPA Activity
•
A new interface for DigitalMeasures was successfully implemented this week, following the plan
submitted to Dr. Rob Stewart last week. Trainings were held on 8/27/15 and 8/28/15, and
additional trainings will be held in September.
•
With the start of the Fall 2015 semester, HB 2504 compliance has started. All instructors are
mandated to have their syllabus uploaded by September 1st, the 7th day of classes. A notice will be
sent on August 31 for any that have not complied. The task of monitoring HB 2504 is challenging
because course uploads are dependent on ePaf processing for incoming faculty and graduate
students.
•
The Fall 2015 OPA Newsletter was distributed to Deans, Associate Deans, and Department Chairs.
The newsletter format is digital and includes live hyperlinks.
•
The Office of Planning and Assessment provided photos to Dr. Kathy Austin, in preparation for the
Progress Portal website launch.
•
Dr. James provided guidance on strategic plan reporting, and OPA staff prepared a document that
describes strategic plan dates and deadlines.
•
OPA staff prepared a mock document that provides outreach and engagement data to colleges.
These data originated from the Raiders Engaged Survey. This document will be presented to Dr.
James for his approval.
•
Assessment of the Tech Assessment Network (TAN) presentations will begin in September. OPA
staff have prepared an electronic questionnaire to monitor feedback on TAN presentations.
•
OPA staff reviewed the QEP assessment plan, and will meet with Professor Gary Smith next week
about implementation procedures. Planning for a QEP celebration is underway for late September.
