SETUP YOUR VOICEMAIL FROM YOUR PHONE:
1. Press the button below VMAIL on your LCD display.
2. You will be prompted to enter your password, which is your extension. (Example:
4266) There is a tutorial that follows so you can change your password, record
your name, record your greeting, & retrieve your messages. Press:
a.) 1 for new messages
b.) 2 for saved messages
c.) 3 for options (such as record a new greeting, or change your
password)
RETRIEVE MESSAGES FROM ANOTHER COLLEGE PHONE:
1. Dial your extension
2. Wait for your message to begin, Enter # (this will put you into your voicemail)
3. Enter your password, you can now retrieve your messages, change your password,
or record a new greeting.
RETRIEVE MESSAGES FROM OUTSIDE THE COLLEGE:
1. Dial your main campus number, followed by your extension or your direct dial
number
2. Wait for your message to start playing , then press # (this will put you into your
voicemail
3. Enter your password, you can now retrieve your messages, change your password,
or record a new greeting.
PLACE A CALL ON HOLD:
1. Press speaker or pick up hand set.
2. Press hold and then press the other line. When finished with the call, press the
other line to retrieve the call that was placed on hold.
TRANSFER A CALL:
1. Answer call by hitting the speaker button or by picking up the hand set.
2. Press TRNS/CNF (call is automatically placed on hold).
3. Dial extension number of the telephone to receive transfer.
4. Press SPEAKER to disconnect (if in speakerphone mode), or hang up.
MAKE A CONFERENCE CALL:
1. Make first call. (you must call the outside lines first)
2. Select CONF. Call is placed on hold automatically.
3. Select next line and make next call.
4. Select CONF to establish conference.
5. Press TRNS/CNF button to add more parties (up to seven parties).
SET UP SPEED DIAL NUMBERS:
1. Select options.
2. Select next until SDIAL option appears.
3. Then select SDIAL for speed dial programming.
4. Press programmable button or dial pad (0-9) to choose storage location.
There are two levels of storage buttons. (To access the second level, press
shift first). (Location - This is where the number is going to be stored).
5. Choose your speed dial route (Preselect- this is the route where the number
will be stored) from the following list:
 Press line button to select outside line,
 Dial 00 to select prime line or last line used,
 Dial 01 to 16 to select line group,
 Press Intercom button or dial 8 to select intercom.
6. Dial number (up to 16 digits long).
7. Select Save to store the number.
8. Repeat previous steps until all numbers are stored, or select exit.
9. Press speaker to end.
10. Then to make a call using the Speed dial numbers, you press the
programmable button (this is the line buttons under the first row of buttons).
