Position Responsibilities:
This position will contribute to technical projects and services that fall under the responsibilities
of the Color Technology team.
Responsibilities include:
* Implementing tools and processes in the Global Color System for manufacturing at US and
International sites;
* Modification of existing services in response to specific business needs;
* Facilitating resolution of technical, manufacturing, and quality problems related to color;
* Development of new methods, programs, and processes for improved quality and efficiency;
* Interactions with plants and labs to implement new developments and provide training;
* Support to US and global manufacturing sites for all tools and processes relevant to color, i.e.,
software, spectrophotometers, pigments, shading databases, standards, and test methods;
* Project support through effective data analysis;
* Written and verbal communication of all results.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, good organizational and planning abilities, and a
high level of initiative are necessary for success in the position.
Experience Required:
Candidate must have:
* Minimum three years experience in Manufacturing, Technical Services, or Product
Formulation
* Demonstrated proficiency and leadership in project management and problem solving
* Proficiency in data interpretation and analysis
Experience working with technical software and formulation experience with color related
projects are strongly preferred.
Education Required:
BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
Travel Required: 10%
