Addendum One
President’s Report
Prepared by Gordon Watt
1. Election results for Administrative Services senator - Steve Lowery is our
new senator. He is from Campus Safety.
2. Notes from The June 16 Board of Trustees meeting - There was a
ceremony for retirees, Susan and Connie thanked Rosie Mogle for her
many years of service, Connie is not looking forward to Rosie leaving,
keeps asking if maybe she has changed her mind. Lorenzo gave a report
on the tentative budget, looks good at this time, we need to be aware of
enrollment challenges that could have a negative impact.
One item, The Dean of Science and Math, was pulled from the consent
calendar.
3. I reported on our very successful Classified Appreciation Week activities
co-sponsored by S.E.I.U. 1021 and Classified Senate. And the ice cream
social sponsored by Susan's office.
I also introduced Noell to the Board as our new president.
