It may be wise to begin your college education with
fewer units in your first semester or two, which will
require more time to complete your lower division
requirements. You may also need to begin your Math
sequence at a lower level, which would add an
additional semester or more.
(1)
Your starting point for Math and English is determined by your assessment tests. You may start at a higher or
lower level in these areas. It’s very important to start these sequences early, as they are the longest sequences
in this major and they will be helpful in all of your other courses.
(2)
It is strongly recommended, but not required, that you take BUS-7 before taking BUS-1A.
(3)
Not required for transfer to CSUEB, but is required for graduation from CSUEB.
Additional Requirements:
All courses in the major are required to have a grade of “C” or higher, and a cumulative GPA of 2.0
must be achieved.
When applying to CSU East Bay, indicate that you are obtaining the AS-T Degree in Business. You'll
receive a verification form from CSU East Bay that you'll need to complete, and you'll need to
document full completion of all degree requirements prior to the start of classes.
