KEHR UNION - SOUND SYSTEM - BALLROOM RENOVATION
Construction - May 2016 to September 2016.
Install a new sound and lighting system in the
multi-space ballroom. Ceiling and floor finishes will be
replaced, as well as re-painting of the space.
Construction of a new 162,000 square foot; 7 story building.
Ground floor will house University Bookstore, food service
area and district cooling plant. First floor will include campus
mail services and integrative learning area. First thru sixth
floors will include suite style student residences.
New pedestrian and vehicular traffic routes in effect during
project construction are posted at

New steam lines will be installed around the south and east sides of
Centennial Hall.
In addition, all walks around these sides will be replaced, as well as
additions and upgrades of exterior pole lights to meet campus
standards and provide energy saving fixtures.
Pedestrian traffic will not be available along these routes during
project.

Lightstreet Road, connecting the student
housing complexes on Honeysuckle Lane with
the lower campus at the rear of Haas Center.
Included are an elevator tower and stairs,
