Group Project
Form a group of 5-7 students and fill in this information. The group leader must
email me (at macarthur@math.utah.edu) the (1) team name, (2) list of students
in the group, and (3) the chapter/topic you will presenting for your project. The
group leader will also need to set up a short meeting with me to go over the
mathematics your team will present (without giving away the whole
presentation).
The goal of this project is two-fold: to delve a little deeper into one of the
chapters covered in this class and thereby increase your understanding, and to
have fun (& make me laugh). :) Your group will have 5 minutes to present your
project in front of the entire class. (I will rudely cut you off at 5 minutes to
ensure every group gets their turn on project day, so please make sure you stay
within that limit.) In order to get full credit, each person in your group must
participate.
