“The Presidential Committee on the Status and Role of Women should represent a diverse
cross-section of the University and will be comprised of (sic) 13 members:
1 Academic Administrator
4 Faculty
4 Professional Staff
2 Classified Staff
2 Students (1 Undergraduate and 1 Graduate)>
1. Faculty and staff members should be selected from varied sectors of the University
representing a diverse blend across colleges/units/departments.
2. Appointment to the committee will be for three years. Terms will be staggered so
that one-third of the committee will be selected each year.
3. The initial terms will be staggered for e, 3, and 4 year terms.
4. The Women’s Caucus will supply at least twice as many names to the President as
they are committee member vacancies. The President will select the committee
members from this list.”
