Ultimately you are responsible for making sure that you take the courses you need to graduate with the concentration you may wish to have,
though of course no concentration is required. Careful attention to getting Foundation courses done in a timely fashion; getting 601 and 602
done in a timely fashion, since they are prerequisites for so many other courses; taking electives you need for a concentration WHEN they are
offered, since they are not all offered every year; and generally planning your work-life-school balance -- all these things will be necessary.
Requests to take more than six credits per semester will need special permission of the Director, so ask well in advance. In general, stay in
touch with your advisor!
