Thank you for your interest in the Environmental Studies major. We welcome your
interest in joining the second cohort of majors. The Environmental Studies Program at Boston
College invites students to engage questions related to the environment and sustainability from a
variety of perspectives in courses from departments and programs across the University. For
more information about the program and requirements, please see the website
(http://www.bc.edu/envstudies/).
In order for your application to be complete, this cover page must be signed and turned in
at Devlin 213 by 4 pm on May 6, 2016. The remainder of the application, including your 500word personal statement, must be submitted via email to envs_major@bc.edu by the same date
and time.
All decisions will be sent on or about the second the week of June. Good luck and have a
productive semester.
