The Department of Surgery, University of South Alabama College of
Medicine in Mobile, Alabama is actively recruiting a dynamic
otolaryngology faculty member. The ideal candidate would be a recent
graduate form a fellowship program who has a passion for clinical
excellence, a desire to teach and who is open for research opportunities.
The University of South Alabama Health System is a comprehensive
teaching system with a Level I trauma center, regional burn center, cancer
center and a recently-expanded women and children’s hospital. This will
be a perfect opportunity for someone who wants to perform the full
spectrum of otolaryngology-related procedures on both adults and
pediatrics, but with particular emphasis on pediatrics.
The Mobile metropolitan area is located minutes from the white sand
beaches of the Alabama and Florida coasts. Home to over 600,000
residents, the Mobile area boasts a thriving economy and its cost of living
is among the lowest of the 80 largest metropolitan areas in the U.S.
