The Committee on Curriculum has acted to send the following recommendation to the
Academic Senate.
DELETION of Degree Program
A.A.S. Medical Laboratory Technology Program
Explanation: This program has been a part of the curricula in the Department of Biological Sciences and
Geology. As of September 2002 students are no longer accepted into this degree program. Students
are advised to enroll in the A.S. Degree Program in Health Sciences and follow the program articulations
for transfer to the B.S. in Medical Laboratory Sciences at Hunter College or for the B.S. in Medical
Technology at York College. It is best that the program be deleted from the College offerings
