Social Worker III – Part Time

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Work involves conducting evaluations and reviews of Child
Welfare social work case management documentation. Responsible for the analysis of data
and preparation of reports. Data analysis includes review of case documentation in child
welfare programs. Work involves the ability to review and determine effective application and
documentation of intensive social work services in serious and complicated cases that use a
wide range of social work skills and intervention techniques. Documentation is reviewed to
ensure effective social work practice and compliance with Federal and North Carolina child
welfare lays, statues, and policy.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Part-time position offering 20 hours per week. College transcripts
must accompany application in order for application to be considered complete.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: MSW from an accredited school of social work; or
BSW from an accredited school of social work and completion of the Child Welfare
Collaborative; or BSW from an accredited school of social work and one year directly related
experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Social Worker I and Social Worker II may be considered. Minimum Training and Experience:
4 year Human Services degree required.
