BU-804—Administrative Office Procedures (3 credits/4 hours)
Objective:
Students will understand the role of the administrative office assistant in the workplace and develop the technical and professional skills needed for entry-level
positions and to climb career ladders in corporate, government, and professional office environments.

The class began with 18 students registered. The following data was generated by
averaging tests and awarding grades for satisfactorily completing study guide and
textbook assignments, In addition, evaluation was also based on communication skills
software assignments that covered English usage, punctuation/grammar, and
commonly misspelled words..

reinforce learning.

Web Access software
adequately prepares
students for handling
and organizing email,
calendars/ scheduling,
contacts, and tasks in
the office environment.
These study guides
include exercises in
Internet research.

Web Access (organizing email, calendars/scheduling,

and lifelong learning.

contains a pretest,
