this Valentine’s
Day?
!
The V-Day Movement, started by
renowned playwright Eve Ensler, is a
global activist movement to end
violence against women and girls. Throughout the month of February, V-Day events
are held throughout the country and globe to promote awareness, education, and
activism. V-Day brings the issue of violence against women and girls front and
center in our communities and the culture at large.
!
On February 14th, 2012, V-Day launched the One Billion Rising campaign, a call to
action against the staggering reality that one third of women will experience
violence or abuse during her lifetime. Every Valentine’s Day, One Billion Rising
activists join together in demonstrations throughout the world.
!
To learn more, get involved, or view local V-Day events, visit the V-Day website.

See Valentine’s Day with new meaning.
Spread your love to women and girls around the world.
