1. In support of Guided Pathways, Instruction and
Student Services Commissions will jointly bring
forward recommendations to implement early
career assessment, advising and
intervention. Clarify relationship and
opportunities for collaboration between WEC
and CESC.

First year - joint task force brings forward
recommendations to WACTC. Taskforce will
include membership from IC, WSSSC, CESC,
WEC, SBCTC, and ACC.

harassment & assault for all learners; protect
parenting/pregnant student access to education
as defined by Title IX.
 Mapping the processes regarding the
compliance, investigation, and reporting for
Title IX cases. Co-designing opportunities
for educating students and employees
about Title IX/VAWA.
2. Create shared resources guide policy
development, investigator training, and
professional development trainings for
students, staff & faculty to be in compliance
with VAWA and Title IX.

successfully across system and assess the

WSSSC Goal: Professional Development – Strengthen and expand the knowledge, skills and abilities of Student Services professionals
within the system.

1. Continue annual joint training for new Vice
Presidents of Instruction and Student Services.

and/or SBCTC.

network of professional partners and shared
resources regarding issues of compliance,
