Administrative History
Youth Empowerment is a collaboration of Delaware County youth and adults from education, faith based,
youth serving, business, government, and not-for-profit sectors. Using the 40 Developmental Assets as
a framework, Youth Empowerment is committed to make a difference in the community and the lives of
young people. The mission statement is to build an asset focused community, which engages all members
in the creation of a supportive environment where all youth become productive, responsible and caring
citizens.
Scope and Contents
This collection includes administrative records, conference materials, and related organization materials
from Delaware County Youth Empowerment in Delaware Country, Indiana ranging from 1990 to 2011
regarding youth assistance, empowerment and education.
