Dear Parents/Guardians, We are excited to share information with you about a special opportunity coming up for Student Leadership! We are going to participate in service projects for our next two monthly meetings. We will be going to the Eagan location of Feed My Starving Children, which is a non-‐
profit Christian organization committed to feeding starving children hungry in body and spirit. We will be hand-‐packing meals formulated specially for starving children, and then they are shipped to nearly 70 countries around the world. We will also be volunteering our time at Augustana Care Regent and Ebenezer Ridges, both in Burnsville. Students will be working with elderly with memory loss, Alzheimers and dementia, as well as some with physical disabilities. We will be splitting our large group of SLP members into smaller groups for the three different locations, see the details attached. All students should be checking with their teachers for any work they will miss. Students are responsible for ALL homework they will be missing because of the field trip. If you have questions, please contact: Jenni Vaillancourt (jenni.vaillancourt@district196.org) or Kristine Cinealis (kristine.cinealis@district196.org) Thank you very much!
