Every year visitors from around the world come to Milano to attend shows and events, including performances at Teatro alla Scala , the Salone del Mobile design exhibition and Milano Fashion Week.
The city also hosts some of the finest museums: the Pinacoteca di Brera the
Museo Poldi Pezzoli , the Museum of Science and Technology , the PAC and the Triennale to mention but a few. The variety and the prestige of art and photography galleries in Italy is unparalleled. Da Vinci's Last Supper , one of the most famous frescos in the world and one of the many testimonies of Leonardo’s time in the city, is a must see.

PUBBLIC TRANSPORTATION
The area around SDA Bocconi is well served by public transport, which in Milano is operated by ATM.
A ticket costs €1.50, it is valid for 90 minutes from when it’s first stamped and can be used on overground lines as well as on underground and urban railway lines (S lines) for one journey.
Tickets, travel cards and season passes can be purchased from newsagents and bar tabacchi.
There are three underground lines in Milano: M1
(red), M2 (green), M3 (yellow), M5 (lilac).
There is also a “Passante Ferroviario”, a largely underground railway line. To travel between urban stations of the “Passante Ferroviario” you can use standard underground tickets.
Trains operate from 6.00 until 00.30: during the night there is an overground replacement service for lines M1 and M3.
At Piazza Duomo underground station there is an
ATM Point , where you can obtain information and buy tickets and season passes.

The nearest underground station to SDA
Bocconi is Porta Romana (M3), which can be reached taking tram 9 from Viale Bligny to
Piazzale Medaglie d’Oro.
Take the M3 line towards Comasina to reach the city centre and several train stations.

FROM STAZIONE CENTRALE
Stazione Centrale is located in Piazza Duca d’Aosta. From there, take the M3 line (yellow) towards San Donato. Change at Porta Romana and take tram 9. Get off at Bligny-Bocconi for Via
Bocconi 8 or XXIV Maggio for Via Balilla 18.
The journey lasts approximately 30 minutes and tickets can be purchased from the newsagents in both the train and the underground station.

FROM THE AIRPORT
There are three airports in and around Milano: n
Linate, about 10 km from the city centre, for national and European flights only  n
Malpensa, about 50 km from the city centre, for all flights  n
Orio al Serio, about 50 km from the city centre.
This is a smaller airport used mainly by low-cost airlines 
Linate:
Take bus 73 and change at XXII Marzo-V Giornate.
Then take tram 9 and get off at Bligny-Bocconi for Via Bocconi 8 or XXIV Maggio for Via Balilla 18.
Malpensa:
Malpensa Express  .
A one-way ticket costs € 12.00 and the train stops at Cadorna - Ferrovie Nord station.
From there, take the M2 undergound line (green) to P.ta Genova, and tram 9 to Bligny-Bocconi for
Via Bocconi 8 or XXIV Maggio for Via Balilla 18.
There is also a shuttle bus service from Malpensa to Stazione Central 

A simple report is required for each item lost.
The payment of a small fee may also be required for each day that the item has been kept in storage. Opening hours: Monday to Friday:

Your are advised to report lost wallets or passports to your Consulate since these may be forwarded to the local Consulate rather than to the Lost and Found Office.
DENUNCIA (Police Report)
Lost or stolen items must be reported to the police for insurance purposes or for the reissue of identity documents, driving licence etc.
