Role (42%), Business Non-Executive Role (39%), and Business-Self Employed (31%).

66% of those who indicated a non-academic position most immediately prior to their current
deanship were in a Business-Executive Role.
• The top three areas of academic focus in deans’ academic careers were Management (14%),
Marketing (13%), and Finance (11%).

45% of deans have lived zero to six months in a country other than where currently
