In Malawi, following some PADR training, one extension worker said “I have been
trying to teach the community these issues, but with no success. Through the PADR
process they now understand how some of their agricultural practises contribute to
their vulnerability. Thank you”.
District Governors have also included DRR in their messages to the community,
resulting in a number of new DRR activities in the community.
