• Industrial technology as an
intellectual discipline
• The technological systems used in
industry and their effect on people and
the environment
• The potential and limitations of future
developments in technological systems
and their utilization in industry
Admission requirements
> A Master’s degree with an education or industry specialization in a content field in/
or related to industrial technology and management
> Graduate GPA of 3.2 or higher on all prior graduate work
> Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
> Three academic or professional references
> Three years of professional-level educational or industrial experience in /or related
to the major field of specialization is preferred
> Departmental application (must include statement of intent)
> Graduate College application
> Official transcripts for all post-secondary academic studies completed or attempted,
and transcript of earned degree must be sent directly from the issuing institution to
the UNI Registrar
> Applicants may be requested to provide scholarly writing samples, records of
documents for degrees awarded, an interview, or other forms of evidence, which will
support, clarify or strengthen the applicant’s credentials.
> Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) for International Students whose
native language is not English, forwarded directly from the testing agency to the UNI
Registrar.
> International students must complete all application materials and forward them to
the International Services Office and when that file is complete, it will be sent to the
Department Graduate Coordinator for admission action.

well developed perspective on personal capabilities
and career/professional direction.
