Laboratory Up-gradation and Equipments Added
Nvis 7063 Transmission Line Training System is a very exclusive design to
demonstrate the basic concepts of transmission line. By calculating the ABCD
parameter we can easily understand the behavior of transmission line. With
the help of this product students can understand short, medium and long
transmission lines behavior and Ferranti effect. Manually circuit formation
facilities make it more user-friendly and help to clarify the doubts of the students. Transmission Line is the key factor of Electrical Engineer for transmission of signals, as like vanes in human body. This model transfer knowledge
not through transmission line but for the transmission line.
Programmable Logic Controller(PLC) Lab
Prolific technologies, Pune has supplied 4 PLC kit and one license copy of
SCADA software. Four PLC kits along with 4 dedicated PCs, The kit has 15
I/O ports (toggle switches, pushbuttons, LEDs, alarms). The PLC kit is of
Alen Bradley Micrologix 500 series. Various experiments can be performed
like: Temperature measurement, Level Measurement, Pressure measurement,
Alarm annunciation and On/Off control, alternate On/Off control, etc. and
many more applications can be made by the kits. An automation industry requires the knowledge of PLC and SCADA and therefore this subject is very
important. Projects can also be made with the help of interfaced PLCs.
