Volunteer Contract
(Soc 134—Prof. Schweingruber)
To complete this assignment, students must work at least at least 16 volunteer hours to
the satisfaction of your agency by April 10. Some organizations may require a greater
commitment.
Students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner
during their volunteer work. Any misconduct in your capacity as a volunteer will be considered a
violation of the course’s academic honestly policy.
Sociology Central will contact the agency to confirm that you have worked at least 16
hours and that the agency is satisfied with your performance.
Any problems should be reported to the course instructor (dschwein@iastate.edu).
Receiving credit for this project also requires writing a short paper (as described in the
syllabus).
