ISU and Great Ape Trust Form Partnership
August 28, 2007--Iowa State University and the Great Ape Trust of Iowa are
partnering in some upcoming research. The announcement, made Monday, is
expected to attract federal grants and other research funds.
The agreement may also eventually lead to the development of Master's and
Doctoral programs in Primatology at Iowa State. ISU faculty and students have
already worked closely with the organization. Two Great Ape Trust scientists are
professors at Iowa State, and six graduate students are on the Ape Trust staff.
