Deere & Company--John Deere Waterloo Works presented a model 7920 tractor
to the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering department
at Iowa State University. Ramesh Kanwar, department chair,said the tractor
will be used by the faculty and graduate students in research on field automation
and harvesting biomass for energy. He said the state-of-the-art information
technology and control systems on the tractor will enhance the ability of
graduates to integrate future technologies into seamless systems
