CREATIVE PROJECT: An American Self Reflection

This creative project is an art installation titled “An American Self Reflection”. This
installation has six sections, each of which I have identified as a problem in our society. The
sections deal with consumerism, stereotypes, class separation, slothfulness and a false sense of
entitlement. The gallery installation uses mixed media, neon glass signage, video, and
photography. With this installation, my hope is the viewer leaves with a self-reflection of their
own habits, beliefs and ideals. Good or bad I believe that self-reflection is the only way for
personal and society's development.
