CONDITIONS
TO READ ABSOLUTELY
FINAL DEADLINE
No additional time will be allowed.
All application forms received after the final deadline will be refused.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
The schooling service of the Institute will send you an email to confirm the reception of your application
form.
Then your application will be presented under 7 days (opening days) to an educational commission. The
applications received during holidays will be considered at the opening of the Institute.
If you are admitted, you will receive an admission certificate and a notification for the evaluation
test. Do not forget to confirm that you will take the test.
If you are not admitted, you will receive a letter telling why your application has been refused.
REGISTRATION FEES
The 2016/2017 registration fees are 1 100 euros for one semester. You should add administrative fees
and student health insurance (around 280 euros).
The registration fees are payable in full at the time of the administrative registration:
• in September for the semester 1,
• in January for the semester 2.
The payment could be done by cash, cheque in Euros or bank card.
WARNING: you are registering for a university diploma that can not be exempted of registration
fees.
VISA
If your application is accepted you will receive an admission certificate. With this document and if you are
not a European citizen, you can obtain a visa called « Etudiant » (delivered by the French Embassy). This
visa will allow you to obtain a residence permit once in France without going back to your home country
after the test.
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO TAKE THE EVALUATION TEST
OR TO REGISTER AT THE UNIVERSITY WITH A TOURIST VISA.
CONDITIONS FOR CANCELLATION
Your definitive registration takes place only at your arrival when you will pay the fees, after the assessment
test. Until the payment, you can cancel your application to the French Institute. After the payment, no
refund is possible.

What does the Institute of French Language
offer to you ?
In the framework of the international certification for language institutes in Europe, the
French Government created the Qualité français langue étrangère label. Since 2008, the
Institute of French Language in Orleans has been accredited with this label, proof of the
high quality for its language training and services.
In addition to its program, the Institute is also an exam center for the national exams in French
language proficiency:
TCF DAP for an admission in the 1st or the 2nd year of a Bachelor’s degree (February)
TCF (March)
DELF and DALF (end of May)
Located in the middle of the Orleans university campus, you will benefit from the various university
