6270.4 – RESPONSIBILITY
Charles Gill, Supervisor’s Office, Mark Twain National Forest, is designated as the Forest
Privacy Act Officer and Freedom of Information Act Officer (FOIA) with Forest-wide
responsibility for administering both acts.
6271.4 – REQUEST FOR RECORDS
District Rangers must immediately forward all written requests for records to the FOIA and
Privacy Act Officer in the Supervisor’s Office. If asked Districts may advise the requester that
their request has been referred to the Supervisor’s Office for decision. The acknowledgement
should in no way indicate the possibility of denial.
