1239 – SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC CORONADO NF DELEGATIONS OF AUTHORITY.
District Rangers and SO Staff Officers. Districts Rangers and SO Staff Officers are assigned as
line officers for their District/Staff area. They are responsible to the Forest Supervisor for the
day-to-day operating activities within their District/Staff area, establishing policy, formulating
program plans, allocating funds and workforce, providing coordinating program direction to their
Staff, and serving as the primary management line with Forest Supervisor / Management Team
and external clientele on broad operational and administrative matters.
