Financing Renewable Energy Projects in SA
The next Discussion Forum on Financing Renewable Energy Projects in
South Africa will be held on Friday 10 September 2010 at 15h00 in
Auditorium 1 of the Investec Building, Lower Bree Street in Cape Town.
Michael Meeser from Investec will elaborate on Investec Bank Limited and more
specific Investec Capital Market’s role in the renewable energy market. Mark
Tanton from Red Cap Investments will introduce the topic of the financing of
wind energy projects and Marc Immerman from Lereko Metier Sustainable
Capital will introduce the topic of financing of CSP projects.
A general discussion on the topic will be facilitated after the presentations.
All academic staff and students, representatives from the public and private
sectors as well as the general public are welcome to attend. There will be a
small reception afterwards sponsored by Investec Capital Markets.

The presentation will be held in Auditorium 1 which is on the 5th floor but a registration table
will be set up on the 1st floor for security reasons and people will be directed to the correct
venue.
