55.2 – Prospectus.
The following clause will be added to the General Section of the Prospectus:
Indiana timber Licensing Law, I.C. 25-36-.5-1, requires that everyone buying “trees”,
standing of felled, or logs” from a “timber grower” in the State of Indiana, must be licensed and
bonded.
This is an annual license with a validation period from January 1st thru December 31st.
The licensing fee is $100.00.
A surety bond or certificate of deposit is required to be posted with the State in an
amount based upon the buyers annual purchases. The minimum bond requirement is $2,000 with
a maximum of $20,000.

The title of Items #8 of the Prospectus is modified to read: Performance Bond and
Contract Signature.
The following clause will be added to Item #8:
“The bidder whose bid is accepted will, within 30 days of notice of award, or any written
extension thereof by the Forest Service, execute a timber sale contract and furnish a satisfactory
performance bond, in accordance with provisions of such timber sale contract, in the penal sum
as prescribed in the prospectus for this sale.”
