“Word Recognition”

Word Recognition is used by many companies and services for
automated calling; however, it is an inexact science that contains
many problems. To better understand this system and its problems,
we created a model that used Haar wavelet decomposition to retrieve
the details of different sound recordings of words. We then used our
model and intial, known data to identify the data of an unknown word
and studied the results.
