I. Opening Remarks - Miriam Satern, CCPU Chairperson
A. Ken Hawkinson - unable to attend
B. Mention about Dave being member of the Quality of Life Committee and a survey being
conducted.
C. Old Business/Initiatives.
Letter to City Council. Group decided not to pursue the matter about concern over
eliminating the stop sign on West Adams and Normal Street to accommodate the Go-West
bus stop.
II. Master Plan – Scott and Erick
On-going Projects:
‒ Memorial Hall move-in.
‒ Steam Line project (phase I – University to Thompson, phase II Thompson to North
Quad).
‒ Hanson Field new Turf and Scoreboard.
‒ Union Entrance is completed and installation of the new elevator to the Heritage Room
completed.
‒ Corbin and Olson to be completed by the Fall 2012.
‒ Renovation and Maintenance of Washington (bathrooms) and Lincoln – 2 floors at a
time.
‒ Decommission of Wetzel and Lamoine.
‒ Performing Arts Center: re-commence Design. This project is next in funding from State.
‒ Campus Landscaping Standard
‒ Deferred Maintenance: borrowing $11.5 million.
