What We Offer
Pall PRO Services offers a range of flexible and
comprehensive purifier options, including:
• Start-up and Commissioning – This service is
designed to ensure simple, trouble-free start-up
and reliable performance of your purifier from
the start.
• Purifier training – Introductory purifier training
is available for new staff, and retraining/refresher
training is available for existing operations staff.
Pall also offers training that focuses on routine
purifier maintenance to ensure reliable operation and continued performance.
• Repairs and spare parts – Pall technicians
are available to repair purifiers both onsite and
offsite. They also conduct system audits,
health checks, and system upgrades.
With a Pall PRO Services Preventative Maintenance
Agreement, Pall experts can help you increase
productivity and minimize downtime.
• Rental Purifiers – Pall also has a fleet of rental
purifiers available, as well as a rental fleet of
equipment to support additional filtration, water,
or particulate monitoring.
• Service Agreements – Pall PRO service agreements are available for all Pall purifiers. These

operating at peak performance and prevent
unscheduled purifier down time. The agreements can be tailored to annual or multi-year

Overview
Pall offers a range of filtration products, oil purifers, and
fluid condition monitoring equipment specifically designed
to help paper machines achieve increased uptime, lower
maintenance costs and high capacity.
History
Pulp starts out at 98% water, and the production
environment in a paper mill is very humid. The production
lines rely on equipment that uses rollers, and keeping the
bearings for these rollers properly lubricated is critical.
Plants deploy large lubrication systems to accomplish this.
During operation, water is forced into the seals in the rollers
and gets into the oil. As the seals wear the ingression of
water can increase. This water contamination is inherent to
these processes—it cannot be avoided, and every system
in the world requires some means of removing water.
The Challenge
As water contamination occurs, the oil loses it’s lubrication
properties and does not provide adequate protection to
the system. Free water will also corrode steel parts of the
tanks and pipework.
Shutting down the production line is costly. By controlling
the quality of the lubrication oil, the time between
maintenance periods can be extended, and along with it,
the production time.

The Solution
The Pall HNP022 purifier addresses all these challenges,
and unlike centrifuges and coalescers, removes both free
and dissolved water and gases. In fact, Pall purifiers are
designed to remove 100% of free water and up to 90%
of dissolved water.
