3. Is a VAV required to control the air flow at each heat coil? System is a constant volume and a balancing
damper will be required at each new take off and installed between take off and new RHC.
4. Please provide a model # for the heat coils. Carrier is listed but they are saying they cannot provide. Carrier
provides the coils through a third party. A cutsheet of the coils selected during the design phase is
attached. Carrier contact is Doug Amerine; Inside Equipment Sales Office: (719) 444-0505.
5. Are the T- stats local or connected to a building controlled system? I would suggest that the new coil
control components (valves, actuators and balancing valves) and the room temperature sensor match the
existing control components. UCCS Existing control system is Setpoint.
