This assignment is about a person known as Sir Michael Atiyah.
Find out who he is and write a short biography of him. You may want
to address such questions as: What is his profession? Why is he referred to
as “Sir”? What has he achieved?
Atiyah is giving a public lecture here in Lincoln on October 21. You will
have an opportunity to earn extra credit by attending this lecture, so make
sure to mark your calendar, if you are interested.
