Going Solo
• In 1984, while on the “Victory Tour” with
his brothers, Michael announced he would
be leaving the group and starting his solo
career.

Thriller
Thriller was released on November
30,1982, by Epic records. Thriller explores
the genres including pop, R&B, rock and
post-disco. Thriller enabled Michael
Jackson to break down racial barrier’s
threw his appearances on MTV and
meeting the President Ronald Reagan at
the White House.

“Who Is It” was released by
Epic Record on August
31,1992. It was the fifth
single from Michael’s
eighth album called
“Dangerous”. Michael
Jackson both wrote and
produced this song with
the help of producer Bill
Bottrell.

sounds soft and angelic. There are to
harmonious sounds maybe flutes? Playing there
is a violin added in then there is a bold sound of
drums and tambourine added there is a steady
bold beat.

vocal added in, voice is soft but high pitched and
sort of winy.
• 01:17 Verse- add in a tambourine looses heavy

The Moonwalk
In 1983 Michael and his brothers got together
for a T.V special where Michael preformed his hit
single “Billie Jean”. In this awesome performance
Michael came on stage with his now famous,
white rhinestone studded glove and he first
showed the world “The Moonwalk”. This became
his signature move. Jeffery Daniel had taught
Michael how to “Moonwalk” three years prior.

In 1984 Michael and his brothers had
signed with Pepsi to do a commercial.
While recording, a firework went off
earlier then it should have and caught his
hair on fire. This is said to have started his
addiction to drugs and plastic surgery.

Summer of 1993 Michael was accused of
sexual abuse by a 13 year old boy. The trial
ended in January of 2004 with the a
settlement out of court.

• Michael had planned his final tour, called
“This Is It”. It was going to be 50 concerts
to be held at the O2 Arena in London. It
was to begin July 2009 and go threw
March 2010. Michael hadn’t been on tour
since his HIStory Tour back in 1997
DEATH
• On June 25, 2009 just 18 days before his
first planned “This Is It” show Michael
Jackson died. The cause of his death was
due to his addiction to Propofol.
