Summer Assignment 2013-2014
Dear Future HHS Biology Student,
We are excited to have you at our school next year, and especially excited to have you in our Biology classes!
Biology is a wonderful subject that studies various aspect about life and the world we live in, however, Biology
is also very vocabulary intensive. In order to give you a jumpstart to success, the Biology team has put together
a list of prefix, root words and suffixes you will need to be familiar with during the first two weeks of school.
You will be quizzed over these terms in random order and may be asked to match a word part to its definition or
recall its definition from memory. It is extremely important that you complete this task and come to class

We look forward to meeting you and working with you this coming school year!
Sincerely,
