In your Literature book, look up the definition for "symbol" and copy
it into your notes. Then copy down your assigned chapter question on the next slide. You will be
responsible for presenting the answer to this question, along with supporting text!

For Garvey, it's been handed down from one generation to the
next. When he gives it to Cole, he shows that he believes in
